‘Death Defying Acts’
coming to Playhouse 22

Playhouse 22, 210 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick, will present its summer show, Death Defying Acts, at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays, July 21-Aug. 5. The play features three one-act adult comedies by Woody Allen, David Mamet and Elaine May. Tickets cost $12, $10 for senior citizens and students. ‘Birds of Prey’ program

planned at Cheesequake

A "New Jersey Birds of Prey" program will begin at 1 p.m. on July 23 at the Cheesequake State Park Interpretive Center, 300 Gordon Road, Old Bridge. Topics will include bird migration, food preferences and biological adaptations. After the presentation, participants will take a short ride to view nesting ospreys in the park. schedules uniform sale

The Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy Auxiliary will host a uniform sale fund-raiser from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 26 at the hospital, 530 New Brunswick Ave., Perth Amboy. Uniforms, including pants, tops, dresses, jumpsuits, lab coats, skirts, scrubs and accessories will be available in wide variety of styles, colors and sizes for both men and women. Young actors are sought

High school-age and young adult actors of all ethic backgrounds are sought for How I Survived, a musical show planned for Aug. 10-12 at Playhouse 22, Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick. The Seniors in Motion Program is offering walkers, scooters, lifts and motorized and manual wheelchairs to senior citizens and the permanently disabled with mobility impairments.
