GERDA I. ANDERSON WINZERLING, 92, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died July 16 in Carriage House Manor Care Center, Sayreville. Prior to her retirement in 1971, she was employed for 10 years as a typist for Greater Media Newspapers, East Brunswick. Her husband, Arno, died in 1969. Surviving are a daughter, Caryl Bailey of Parlin; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services are planned for July 19 at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.

EVERARD RICHARD ADDAQUAY, 66, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died July 4 in Madison Center, Matawan. Surviving are his wife, Janet Addaquay of Philadelphia; two sons, William Addaquay of Winston-Salem, N.C., and John Addaquay of Ghana, West Africa; four daughters, Maciver Addaquay Osei of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, Audrey Addaquay of Parlin, Everane Bropleh of Baltimore and Linda Addaquay of Ghana; two brother, Kwesi and William, and two sisters, Emila and Janet Addaquay, all of Ghana; and seven grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with a service at Trinity United Methodist Church, Rahway. Interment was in Rahway Cemetery.

MARTHA BRINKERHOFF, 78, of Jackson, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died July 13 in Paul Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Her husband, Robert, died in 1994. Surviving are two sons, Robert of the Pittstown section of Franklin and James of Summit; a daughter, Susan Danch of Howell; a sister, Gloria Share of Old Bridge; a brother, Frank Festa of Ridgefield Park; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville, with a Mass at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Entombment was in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro.

JOSEPH G. LORDI, 83, of Old Bridge died July 13 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Surviving are his wife, Teresa Orefice Lordi; a daughter, Diane Toma of Berkeley Heights; a son, Gregory Lordi of Bernardsville; a sister, Geneieve Hahn of Wanaque a brother, Anthony Lordi of Berkeley Heights; and three grandchildren. Services were arranged by Day Funeral Home, Keyport, with a Mass at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Laurence Harbor First Aid Squad or to Haven Hospice, JFK Medical Center, 98 James St., Edison 08818.

ROBERT J. WHITMORE, 77, of the Nixon section of Edison, formerly of South Amboy, died July 10 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Len FitzPatrick Whitmore; a son, Richard Decker of Nixon; four daughters, Caryl Sorrentino of Cape Coral, Fla., Linda Redfield of Hudson, Mass., Jean Santino of New Hampshire and Barbara; and five grandchildren. Services were arranged by Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.

JENNIE WASNOWITZ BARANSKY, 96, of Milltown died July 8 in Summerhill Nursing Home, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her first husband, Theodosia Wasnowitz, and her second husband, Alexander Baransky. Surviving are five cousins, Mamie Gurnowicz, Dora Hydu, Zona Husiam, Michael Borak and John Borak. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a service at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery.

MONICA FITZGERALD BRODY, 86, of East Brunswick died July 12 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Edward Brody, died in 1963, and a son, Terence Brody, died in 1977. Surviving are two sons, Edward Brody and John Brody, both of Staten Island, N.Y.; two daughters, Eileen O’Leary of South River and Catherine Brody of East Brunswick; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.

FRANK J. MENDOKER SR., 58, of South River died July 9 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Marie Bosko Mendoker; two sons, Frank J. and Joseph, both of East Brunswick; a daughter, Lynn Chiota of Fairfield, Conn.; a brother, Richard of Cumberland, R.I.; and a grandson. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, with a service at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery.

JOAN G. MONDI MONCHEK, 61, of East Brunswick died July 12 at home. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; two daughters, Donna Gallagher of Monroe and Michele Monchek of Sausalito, Calif.; two sons, Joseph of Warrington, Pa., and Daniel of Hazlet; a brother, Dominick Mondi of Huntington, Conn.; a sister, Marilyn Gilliland of Lavalette; and six grandchildren. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
