Obituaries RY ANNA DEE BARRECA, 17 months, of Sayreville died July 19 at home. Surviving are her parents, Frank V. and Donna M. Shaw Barreca; a sister, Samantha Lynn, and a brother, Frank Anthony, both at home; her paternal grandparents, Frank and Ann Barreca of Lakewood; her maternal grandmother, Leila Lair of Asbury Park; an aunt and a cousin. Services were arranged by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a Mass at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. JOHN C. DE MILD SR., 65, of Sayreville died July 20 at his summer home in Manasquan. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Finnerty De Mild; four sons, John of Sayreville, Mark of Fredericksburg, Va., Matthew of Wappinger Falls, N.Y., and Brian of Glenwood, N.Y.; a daughter, Patricia Lasko of Jackson; his mother, Johanna De Mild of the Parlin section of Sayreville; a brother, Joseph De Mild of Douglasville, Ga.; and 11 grandchildren. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with a Mass at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.
PAULINE ROG NAKIELNY, 83, of Sayreville died July 20 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Casimer, died in 1965. Surviving are three sons, Richard of East Greenwich, R.I., and Raymond and Dennis, both of Sayreville; and six grandchildren. Service were arranged by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery. SANTO A. BRULLO, 61, of Middletown, died June 8 at home after a battle with cancer. Born in Francofonte, Sicily, Italy, he lived in Manhattan and Staten Island, N.Y., prior to moving to Middletown in 1984. He was a graphic artist and designer for various companies in Manhattan. He was in the graphic arts industry for over 45 years. He was a seaman in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1958. He was predeceased by his first wife of 25 years, Kathy Esposito, in 1985. Hs is survived by his wife of 14 years, Ronni Brooks-Brullo of Middletown; three sons, Michael Brullo of Parlin, Santo Brullo Jr. of East Brunswick, and Robert Brooks-Brullo of Middletown; one daughter, Maria Maraday of Englishtown; and seven grandchildren. Services were under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A second funeral with full military honors and interment was at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. DANIEL SCHEFFLER, 89, of Old Bridge died July 18 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. His wife, Estelle Torbyn Scheffler, died in 1993. Surviving are two sons, Carl of the Morganville section of Marlboro and Daniel of Alderwood Manor, Wash.; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. CATHERINE M. VARADY, 88, of Sayreville died July 18 in Carriage House Manor Care Center, Sayreville. Her husband, George, died in 1961. Surviving are a daughter, Corinne Jaeger of Sayreville; a sister, Myrtle Farinick; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville. FRANCES M. WEIDMEYER WILLIAMS, 73, of Old Bridge, formerly of Sayreville, died July 18 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Owen E. Williams, died in 1997. Surviving three sons, Owen J. of Atlantic Highlands, James R. of Sayreville and Curtis M. of Old Bridge; a daughter, Deborah Joan Eosso of Sayreville; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. PATSY WILLIAMS, 64, of Sayreville died July 19 at home. A son, Patrick Williams, died in 1988. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Primato Williams; a daughter, Teresa Williams of Sayreville; his mother, Nancy Conzo Williams of Long Island, N.Y.; four brothers, Billy, Joseph and Peter Williams, all of Florida, and Michael Williams of New York; and two sisters, Marie Bono of New York and Irene Schlesinger of Manahawkin. WOLFF, 79, of Old Bridge died July 20 at home. Her husband, William J. Sr., died in 1990, and a son, William J. Jr., died in 1979. Surviving are two daughters, Anne Marie Slover of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick and Kathryn Cifarelli of Old Bridge; a sister, Joan Piering of Florida; two brothers, James J. Lynch of Florida and John Lynch of Bellmore, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. NETTI PERSION FLIEGEL, 89, of East Brunswick died July 23 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, William, died in 1982. Surviving are a son, George of East Brunswick; three daughters, Myrna Kravitz of Syosset, N.Y., Susan Goodfriend of Old Bridge and Karen Smith of Audubon; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Mount Sinai Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Abraham Cemetery, East Brunswick.
ANN CHERNIAK DWYER, 87, of South River died July 21 at her daughter’s home in Helmetta. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Ann Sulkowski of Helmetta; two sons, Joseph Dwyer of Columbia, Md., and John Dwyer of South River; four sisters, Jenny O’Hare of Lakehurst, Alice Bjornsson of Freehold, Mary Ward of Annandale and Emma Kucyk of Wyandotte, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services are planned for July 26 at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
