‘Do-not-call list’ needed due to telemarketing

I want my phone back. I pay for it. It is mine. I get the bill every month. It is in my house. It rings. I pick it up. It seems like 60 percent of the time, it is my "good friend" Mr. or Ms. Telemarketer. I don’t know what I’d do without them for conversation.

Of course, I’m being sarcastic. Mr. Telemarketer is like a bad cousin who likes to hang around and beg you for money. And you can’t get rid of him because there is always another and another.

State legislators need to do something for their constituents once in a while. Passing a state "do-not-call list" law, like they have in 20 other states, would be a nice gift this fall.
