OLV Parish Festival set for July 31-Aug. 2

The Our Lady of Victories (OLV) Parish Festival will be held from 6-10 p.m. on July 31, 6-11 p.m. on Aug. 1, and 2-11 p.m. on Aug. 2 on the parish grounds, Main Street, Sayreville.

The event will feature rides, wheels of chance, nightly and super 50/50s, a Las Vegas wheel, an indoor craft fair and nightly entertainment.

A food court will offer a seafood garden, a Philippine barbecue, desserts, American food and ethnic dishes such as Italian pasta and kielbasi and sauerkraut.

A beer garden will offer various cold beverages.

Old photos will be restored in the photo restoration area. An attic treasures sale will be held upstairs in the parish’s Monsignor Dalton Hall.

Barbara of Barbara’s Unique Boutique, Jamesburg, will appraise antiques from 4-7 p.m. on Aug. 2.

Furniture, weapons and firearms will not be accepted for appraisal.

Mushie the DJ will appear nightly. Patty Daly and the Summer Bible Camp

Singers and Joe and Joann Walter will entertain on July 31. John Walsh will be featured from 7-10 p.m. on Aug. 1. WMGQ Radio will be on hand from 3-5 p.m. on Aug. 2; the Rock Daddys will be the entertainment from 7-10 p.m. on the same day.
