"The Girl With the Pearl Earring" by Tracy Chevalier will be the topic at the next meeting of the library’s Original Book Discussion Group planned for 7 p.m. on Nov. 20. The group will review "Seabiscuit" by Laura Hillenbrand at a meeting set for Dec. 18.

The Coffeehouse Board Game Club of Old Bridge will meet at 1 p.m. on Nov. 22 and Dec. 20. The club concentrates on classic board games, but community members are welcome to bring in a wide variety of games for everyone to try. Individuals of all ages are welcome. The library asks that participants bring their own games, if possible.

The Savvy Seniors discussion group will hold a meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 9. The group meets every month in the library’s large meeting room to discuss previously selected topics. Lunch dates and trips to Broadway shows, movies, etc., are scheduled throughout the year.

New members are sought for the library Gardening Club. Participants will trade secrets and plants, plan visits to gardening centers and discuss how to remake the library garden. For the next meeting date, call the reference desk at (732) 721-5600, ext. 5033.
