Community Bulletin Board Middlesex County residents can either recycle their electronics equipment or donate "gently used" items to nonprofit organizations in the county. Computer equipment including CPUs, monitors, keyboards, scanners, modems, printers and cables, along with televisions, telephones, irons, fluorescent lamps and thermostats and thermometers containing mercury can be dropped off for recycling the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and the third Monday of each month from noon until 4 p.m. at the office of Hesstech, LLC, 45 Executive Ave., Edison. Proof of county residency such as a driver’s license is required. Stress will be topic of Jan. 14 lecture in E.B. The Wellness Education Foundation, East Brunswick, will present a free community lecture titled "Stress-Free in 2004" at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Borders Books and Music, MidState Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick. Topics will include stress-related symptoms including pain, headaches, digestive disorders, insomnia, depression, irritability, injuries and lack of energy and motivation. James M. Lynch, M.D., will offer information on how to locate and overcome the health problems associated with the emotional, physical and chemical aspects of stress. R.S.V.P. for kosher Italian buffet by Jan. 9 The adult education group of Congregation Anshe Emeth, 88 Main St., South River, will hold a kosher Italian buffet on Jan. 18 to launch its "Book & Lecture Series." Cost is $5 for nonmembers. Part one will detail "The Jewish Book of Why" by Rabbi Alfred J. Kolatch. Lunch will follow. A "bagel brunch" will be Feb. 29 and March 28, and will cover the same book.
