County 4-H to offer Explorations Week

Middlesex County 4-H will host its 2004 Explorations Week (E-Week) summer program from July 5-9 at the Middlesex County 4-H Center, 645 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

The aim of the program, which is open to boys and girls who have completed third-seventh grades, is to encourage children’s creativity as well as to promote their self-confidence. Other goals are to help youngsters make new friends and achieve a sense of accomplishment.

This year’s theme will be "Adventures on the High Seas." Participants will have a chance to choose from daily activities such as rocketry, dance, cheerleading, wilderness, survival, drama, drawing and biking.

Arrangements to take part in E-Week may be made by calling (732) 745-3446.

Middlesex County 4-H is a Department of Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County and offers educational programs to all youth, grades kindergarten-13, on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
