Mary P. Modeski Stevenson

Mrs. Stevenson, 70, of Old Bridge died Aug. 6 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. A son, John C. Stevenson, died in 1988. Surviving are her husband, John; a son, Richard of the Toms River section of Dover; a daughter, Cheryl Conklin of Old Bridge; a brother, Stanley Modeski of Pittston, Pa.; and three grandchildren. Services were held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 846 Main St., Fords, NJ 08863.

Catherine Marczak Zambrowski

Mrs. Zambrowski, 85, of South Amboy died Aug. 12 at home. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Krzyzkowski of the Parlin section of Sayreville; three sons, Tom Zambrowski of Perth Amboy, James Zambrowski of South Amboy and Jeffrey Gold of Old Bridge; four sisters, Rita Ferenci of Old Bridge, Florence Thomas and Dorothy Murasko, both of South Amboy, and Lillian Kurek of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Adam Marczak of South Amboy and Alfons Marczak of New Jersey; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Muriel A. Byrnes Cyriax

Mrs. Cyriax of Old Bridge died Aug. 9 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Conrad Sr., died in 1996. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara D’Agostino and Susan Raymond, both of the Parlin section of Sayreville; two sons, Conrad of South Amboy and Philip of Whitehall, Pa.; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Robert Ferrara

Mr. Ferrara, 45, of Woodbridge died July 22 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was predeceased by his mother, Angela D’Innocenzi Ferrara, who died in 1988. Surviving are his father, Theodore Ferrara, and stepmother, Lois Ferrara of East Brunswick; three brothers, Theodore Ferrara of Sacramento, Calif., Francis Ferrara of Bridgeton, Christopher Ferrara of Grafton, Vt.; three sisters, Marian Ray of San Francisco, Patricia Ferrara of Africa, Roseann Gebb of New York City, a stepbrother, Frederick Barbi of Tinton Falls, and a stepsister, Melissa Barbi of North Arlington. Services were held at the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew’s Church in East Brunswick. Burial was at the Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Ruth E. Palm Findon

Mrs. Findon, 88, of Naperville, Ill., formerly of Milltown, died Aug. 11 in Manor Care Center Services, Naperville. She and her late husband, Fred J. Findon, formerly owned and operated Findon’s Restaurant and Tavern, Milltown. Her husband, Fred, died in 1963. Surviving are a daughter, the Rev. Dr. Carol R. Findon of Naperville; a son, Donald F. Findon of Billings, Mont.; a brother, Robert Palm of East Brunswick; a sister, Helen Emerick of North Brunswick; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services are planned for 11 a.m. on Aug. 19 at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Movement Disorders, Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, Suite 755, Neuroscience Institute, 1725 W. Harrison St., Chicago, IL 60612, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Charles Toth

Mr. Toth, 67, of Sayreville, formerly of Old Bridge, died Aug. 8 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Trzandel Toth; two daughters, Jennifer Toth of Brick and Jaren Sekel of Jackson; and two sons, Michael Stockelberg of Long Island, N.Y., and Stuart Stockelberg of Old Bridge. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to leukemia research or to the charity of one’s choice.

Andrea Kern Danton

Mrs. Danton, 52, of Old Bridge died July 29 in Atlantic City. She was employed as a head clerk-typist with the New Jersey State Police, Holmdel. Surviving are her husband, William Danton; a stepson, George Danton of Effort, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Jean Marie Frey of Warwick, N.Y., and Doreen Kurkowski of Seaside; a brother, William Kern of Rahway; and seven step-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.

Natale A. Napoli

Mr. Napoli, 80, of Old Bridge, formerly of Manalapan, died Aug. 9 at home. Surviving are his wife, Susie Napoli; a son, Joseph R. Napoli of Old Bridge; two brothers, Anthony Napoli and Vincent Napoli, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a sister, Frances Esposito of Manalapan; two sisters-in-law, Mary Grillo and Josephine Rispoli, both of Staten Island, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge.

Edward J. Musantry

Mr. Musantry, 76, of Ocean Township died Aug. 11 in St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Nelson Musantry; a daughter, Susan Del Maestro of the Lincroft section of Middletown; two sons, Edward Musantry of Oceanport and James Musantry of Pennsylvania; a sister, Dorothy Bornatici of Old Bridge; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Jerome’s Church, West Long Branch. Interment was in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Alice M. Reese Vogel

Mrs. Vogel, 76, of Sayreville died Aug. 17 at home. Prior to her retirement in 1994, she was a librarian at the Sayreville Public Library, where she worked for 35 years. Her husband, Robert "Red" Vogel, died in 1988. Surviving are three daughters, Kathleen Nowikow of South River, Patricia Wlodarczyk of Brick and Colleen Kelly Vogel of Sayreville; a son, Robert Vogel Sr. of Brick; a sister, Mary Craig of Pennsylvania; a brother, Frank Reese of Monroe; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville. Helen M. "Bacci" McGowan Gorman

Mrs. Gorman, 82, of South Amboy died Aug. 13 at home. Her husband, Francis X. McGowan, died in 1975, and a grandson, Brian F. Kayser, died in 1995. Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Ellen Kayser of South Amboy, Frances Wisnewski of Burlington and Ann Makowski of the Yardville section of Hamilton; two sons, Thomas Gorman of South Amboy and Patrick Gorman of the Morgan section of Sayreville; a sister-in-law, Patricia McGowan of Matawan; 16 grandchildren; and a foster great-granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Sayreville.
