LOUIS CICIO, 74, of Old Bridge died Dec. 17 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Alice Saloom Cicio; a daughter, Darlene De Marzo of East Brunswick; two sons, Louis E. Cicio of Boulder, Colo., and Edward J. Cicio of Howell; a brother, Anthony Cicio of Jamesburg; a sister, Helene Cicio of Tamarac, Fla.; and six grandchildren. Services are planned for Dec. 20 at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Frost Wood Cemetery, East Brunswick.

H. JANE FANNING, 89, of Old Bridge died Dec. 13 in Monmouth County Care Center, Geraldine L. Thompson division, Allentown. Her husband, Wilbur J. Fanning, died in 1957. Surviving are two daughters, Dolores J. Goerke of Freehold and Barbara Fuscaldo of the Toms River section of Dover; a brother-in-law, Ralph Wright of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, with a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

DOROTHY HAHN, 87, of Sayreville died Dec. 11 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Prior to her retirement in 1978, she was employed as a chief stenographer at Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where she worked for 42 years. Surviving are a nephew, Joseph M. Schmitt of Metuchen; and a niece, Dorothy S. Lasko of Kennebunk, Maine. Services were arranged by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a Mass at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.

BERNARD L. HERMELIE, 90, of Old Bridge died Dec. 14 at home. Surviving are his wife, Rose Reinbolt Hermelie; a daughter, Monica Smidili of Old Bridge; and a granddaughter. Services were arranged by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, with a Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro.

BARBARA BEATRICE KOLMAN, 56, of Panhandle, Texas, died Dec. 15 in North West Texas Hospital, Amarillo. Surviving are two sons, Christopher Harvey of Las Vegas and Jake Kolman of San Antonio, Texas; her mother, Marie Antoinette Beatrice of Sayreville; a brother, Michael Beatrice of Sayreville; and a sister, Elaine Ciancitto of Brick. Services were arranged by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a Mass planned for Dec. 21 at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Private cremation will follow.

MARY T. HECHT MORAVEC, 85, of Old Bridge died Dec. 12 in Madison Care Center, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Moravec. Surviving are two sons, Charles Moravec of Old Bridge and Frank Moravec of Woodbridge; a daughter, Mary Lenard of Las Cruces, N.M.; a sister, Lillian Falzone of Catskill, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, with a Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro.

JAMES J. MULLIGAN, 67, of Sayreville died Dec. 11 at home. Surviving are three sons, James P. of Lakehurst, Thomas of Sea Girt and John of South Amboy; three daughters, Sheila Dubil of Atlantic Highlands, Eileen Mulligan of Cranford and Peggy Mulligan of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick; a brother, Thomas of Manalapan; two sisters, Theresa Conroy of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Wynne Stefanelli of Redondo Beach, Calif.; his companion, Eileen McCabe of Sayreville; his former wife, Ann Mulligan of South Amboy; and 11 grandchildren. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville, with a Mass at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.

ANGELO M. SENAPE, 80, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Dec. 17 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Catherine R. Dooling Senape; two sons, James M. of Stratford, N.Y., and William J. of Parlin; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Sayreville.

HAROLD S. SHACKELTON, 73, of Eastampton, formerly of South Amboy, died Dec. 11 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. His wife, Bertha Avery Shackelton, died in 1993. Surviving are a son, Steven Shackelton; a daughter, Barbara Trybus; a brother, William Shackelton; a sister, Lillian Quinlan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. IRENE T. CANAZARO, 77, of East Brunswick died Dec. 12 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Charles S. Canazaro Sr., died in 1988, and a son, Charles S. Canazaro Jr., died in 1998. Surviving are three sons, Donald Tomminelli of Monroe, Vincent Tomminelli of Florida and Joseph Canazaro of Old Bridge; two daughters, Joyce Bilderback of South Brunswick and Patricia Deene of Florida; a brother, Stephen Chaplin of Florida; a sister, Helen Christ of Missouri; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, with a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, South River. Interment was in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. ANTHONY P. DeBARO, 57, of Edison died Dec. 12 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by a son, Shane. Surviving are his wife, Joan E. Lorincz DeBaro; a son, Glenn Parker Martin of Hamilton; three daughters, Juniemalie Molano of Centralville, Va., Deborah Myer of East Brunswick and Tammy DeBaro of Bedminster; and five grandchildren. LEAH LIFSHITZ GOLDBERG, 66, of East Brunswick died Dec. 17 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Stanley; two sons, Eric of East Brunswick and Seth of Hollywood, Fla.; a brother, Stanley Lifshitz of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Klau of Highland Park; and a grandchild. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment followed in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.

DOLORES LOWE HOWARD, 70, of South River died Dec. 13 at home. Surviving are her husband, John Howard; a son, Lawrence Howard of Lancaster, Calif.; three daughters, Amy Wilson of Atlanta, Katherine Hogya of Sayreville and Phyllis Donlon of Keansburg; a brother, Stephen Lowe of Milford, Mich.; a sister, Roberta Carter, also of Milford; and 10 grandchildren. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. ROBERT L. LEATHEROW of Old Bridge died Dec. 8 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Surviving are his wife, Dolores MacArthur Leatherow; two sons, Robert L. Leatherow of Palm Bay, Fla., and Richard D. Leatherow of East Brunswick; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. LUCY CARLO CARDONE, 79, of Monroe died Dec. 16 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, James, died in 1995. Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Lawnik and Roseanne Taylor, both of Spotswood; a son, the Very Rev. James Cardone Jr., dean of the Cathedral of the Incarnation, Garden City, N.Y.; a sister, Nancy Patullo of Bloomsbury; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass planned for Dec. 20 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
