Change timing of light, eliminate traffic nightmare

Do any town officials, police officials or county officials see that the traffic light at the intersection of Crossman Road (Quick Chek) and lower Main Street, Sayreville, creates a traffic nightmare?

In the mornings, traffic is backed up all the way to White Oaks Drive, and in the evenings it is backed up all the way back to the Main Street extension. The reason is whenever a car exits the Quik Check strip mall, the light immediately changes green for them.

Can’t anyone figure out that all they have to do to eliminate the traffic problems is to change the timing of the light?
