Clothing drive to raise funds for cancer society

Throughout the month of April, the team and staff and Worldwide Gymnastics, Old Bridge, will host a clothing drive to benefit the American Cancer Society (ACS).

Worldwide staff and students have organized a team to walk in the ACS Relay for Life on June 3 and 4 at North Hunterdon High School, Annandale section of Clinton. The clothing drive is the first of many fund-raisers the gymnastics academy will host in an effort to raise much-needed funds for cancer research.

Clothing, blankets, curtains, shoes, boots, belts and coats are sought. Items may be dropped off at Worldwide through April 23. Clothing will be picked up by a professional organization that weighs the donations and pays 10 cents per pound. Proceeds will be donated to the ACS at the Relay for Life on June 3.

For more information, call (732) 679-0500.
