Gertrude B. Hoffman Kuntne

Mrs. Kuntne, 82, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died March 26 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement, she was the owner for 40 years of Village Inn Liquors, Washington Road, Parlin. Before that, she was employed with E.I. DuPont, Parlin. Her husband, Frank Kuntne, died in 1989; a son, Michael Kuntne, died in 1993; and a grandson, Bryan, died in 2002. Surviving are a son, Paul E. Kuntne of Vallejo, Calif.; a great-grandson, Bryan T. Kuntne of Parlin; and many nephews and cousins. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sayreville Association for Brain Injured Children, 251 Jernee Mill Road, Sayreville, NJ 08872.

Theresa E. Chadwick Braun

Mrs. Braun, 67, of East Brunswick, died March 29 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, the Rev. N. Joseph Braun, died in 2002. Surviving are three children, the Rev. Steven Braun of East Brunswick, Cathleen T. Nicoletti of Philadelphia and Barbara J. Voges of Avon, N.Y.; two brothers, Leon E. Chadwick of Williamstown and John E. Chadwick of the Blackwood section of Gloucester; and 12 grandchildren. A service was held at East Brunswick Baptist Church. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the music ministry at East Brunswick Baptist Church.

Helen Grambor Milewski

Mrs. Milewski, 98, of Spotswood, died March 26 in the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Milewski, and by two children, Henry Milewski and Helen Marino. Surviving are a daughter, Leonore Freeman of Spotswood; a son, Raymond of the Toms River section of Dover; a sister, Joanna Kordys of Bernardsville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Memorial contributions may be made to Reformed Church Home, 1990 Route 18, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.

Mary Doria Thomas

Mrs. Thomas, 88, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 2 in Briarwood Care Cemetery, Parlin. Prior to her retirement in 1979, she was employed as a registered nurse at Roosevelt Hospital, Edison, where she worked for many years. Her husband, John H. Thomas, died in 1980. Surviving are a son, John H. Thomas Jr. of Parlin; a daughter, Nancy Thomas of Elizabeth; a sister, Vivian Puccio of Brick; a brother, Gabriel Doria of Bayonne; and four grandchildren. A service was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.

Pamela Wiget

Ms. Wiget, 44, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died March 28 in Rose Mountain Care Center, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her parents, Joyce and Robert Wiget. Surviving are three children, Tara Cook of Morris Plains, John Jasko of Sayreville and Stephanie Jasko of Barnegat; two brothers, Mark Wiget of the Iselin section of Woodbridge and Robert Wiget of Barnegat; a sister, Tobi Jo Wiget of North Brunswick; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Cremation was private.

Stella Tomczak Papp

Mrs. Papp, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 2 in Haven Hospice, Edison. Prior to her retirement in 1970, she was employed as a supervisor at Komar Co., South Amboy, where she worked for 30 years. Her husband, John, died in 2000. Surviving are two sons, Raymond Papp of Parlin and John Papp of Lighthouse Point, Fla.; two grandchildren, Allan Papp and Kim Piscitello; and one great-granddaughter. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on April 7 at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.

James Kerrigan

Mr. Kerrigan, of Bayonne, died April 3 in Brick. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Nunez Kerrigan; a daughter, Lori Traina of Sayreville; a son, Daniel J. Kerrigan of Brick; and four grandchildren, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Danielle and Nicholas. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Thomas B. Daley Sr.

Mr. Daley, 88, of Old Bridge, died March 27 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. During the 1960s, he was the owner of Daley’s Diner, Edison. Prior to his retirement in 1980, he was employed by Kimberly Clark, Spotswood. His wife, Dorothy H. Daley, died in 1990. Surviving are seven children, Thomas B. Daley of the Whiting section of Manchester, Mary A. Cox of Millstone, Patricia M. Albrecht and Sharon R. Yonck, both of Old Bridge, state Superior Court Judge Roger W. Daley of East Brunswick, Dorothy A. “Babe” Daley of Monroe and Frank J. Spano; two sisters, Agnes Petrics of Belmar and Edwina Forman of Millstone; a brother, Frederick Daley of the South Seaville section of Dennis; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 St. Thomas Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.

Kenneth Henne

Mr. Henne, 86, of Sayreville, died March 27 in Alameda Care Center, Perth Amboy. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was the manager of the River Front Hotel, South River, where he worked for 20 years, and manager of the YMCA, New Brunswick. Before that, he was a machine operator for 20 years for Quigley Co., Old Bridge. Surviving are a brother, Alfred “Al” Henne of Sayreville; two sisters, May Henne Kocsis Layton of Tuckerton and Dorothy Henne Kregeloh Byron of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.

Joan Irene Sefeldt Fox

Mrs. Fox, 71, of Monroe, died March 27 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Surviving are her husband, Paul Fox; six sons, David and Richard Fox of Barnegat, Steven and John Fox of Brooklyn, N.Y., Thomas Fox of Old Bridge and Larry Fox of the Leonardo section of Middletown; two daughters, Susan Fox-Forsythe of the Belford section of Middletown and Mary Cantwell of Brooklyn; a sister, Carole Gray of Arizona; and 20 grandchildren. Services were held at Eckman Funeral Home, Spotswood. Entombment was in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

George Yuhas

Mr. Yuhas, 76, of East Brunswick, died April 4 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Shenandoah, Pa., he resided in Jersey City prior to moving to East Brunswick in 1962. He was a retired operating engineer at Local 25 Marine Division. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699, Sayreville, and the American Legion, Tuckerton. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce. He is survived by his wife, Mary Eileen O’Reilly Yuhas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Denise Yuhas of Millstone Township, and John and Dawn Yuhas of South Brunswick; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Ann Tommasi of Virginia Beach, Va., and Ellen and Thomas Richard of Millstone Township; two brothers, Peter Yuhas of Pennsylvania, and Steven Yuhas of California; three sisters, Mary Rydwin of Jersey City, Eva Talento of Long Island, N.Y., and Helen Kravitz of Chatham; and 10 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated April 7 at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, Old Bridge. Arrangements are by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
