East Brunswick Grange No. 151 will host a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 8 at the grange hall, 11 Garfield Ave.

July Fourth Celebration

The Monroe Township Recreation Department Fourth of July Celebration will begin at 5 p.m. on July Fourth in Thompson Park. The event will feature refreshments, food vendors, novelty vendors, craft vendors and musical entertainment. A fireworks display is set for dusk. Call Mary Lange at (732) 723-5000.

Auditions scheduled for

'Jack and the Beanstalk'

Villagers Theatre will hold auditions for its upcoming Kidsvill production of "Jack and the Beanstalk" by Michele L. Vacca at 7:30 p.m. on July 18 and 20 in the Villagers Black Box Theatre, 415 DeMott Lane, Somerset section of Franklin. The show will be directed by Francine Mondi and produced by Tina Lee. Technical director will be Paul Carver. Unless specified, all roles are open to any individual, ages 10 and up.
