'Significant' graffiti found on high school building OLD BRIDGE - Monday was a black-letter day at the township high school. The same morning the class of 2006 would celebrate its graduation in Trenton, police found the high school's main building defaced with spray-painted graffiti. The words "Class 2006," "OB," "Yeaaa!!!!!!," "Prank Tha," and "We Stay Stuttin" were found during a routine check of the school grounds by a police officer at about 3 a.m. Monday. The words were painted on sidewalks, walls and three of the school doors. No other vandalism was found on the school grounds or on the buses parked on the premises, police said. Old Bridge police Lt. Robert Weiss described the graffiti to be "significant vandalism," and school officials are also very concerned. "It's very upsetting," said Lori Luicci, a teacher at the school and spokeswoman for the school district. "It's a beautiful new building." Luicci said that although the vandalism cannot be seen from Route 516, students getting ready for graduation Monday were able to see it from where the buses loaded to take them to the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton. School officials were uncertain of the cost or method of removing the black paint, as of Tuesday, Luicci said. Anyone with any information regarding the graffiti was urged to contact Weiss at (732) 721-5600, ext. 3150.
