James A. Farley Sr.

Mr. Farley, 77, of Matawan, died June 27 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Sayreville, he resided there until moving to Matawan 51 years ago. Mr. Farley was a supervisor at E.I. DuPont Inc., Parlin, retiring in 1984. He served with the U.S. Army during peacetime. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a special officer for the Matawan Police Department. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan Farley, in 1986. Mr. Farley is survived by two daughters, Debra Ann Farley of Blairstown and Cynthia Marie Pidich of Aberdeen; a son, James Farley Jr. of Old Bridge; and two grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, Matawan, followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.

Franklin D. Aughtry Jr.

Mr. Aughtry, 45, of Birmingham, Ala., died June 17 at home. He resided in Old Bridge before moving to Birmingham. He was predeceased by his father, Franklin D. Aughtry Sr., in 1996. Mr. Aughtry is survived by his mother, Dorothy Aughtry of Old Bridge; three brothers, Joseph Aughtry of Forked River, and Edward and Kenneth Aughtry, both of Jackson; three sisters, Barbara Young of Clementon, Karen Lyon of Freehold, and Kristin Kowalski of Marlboro; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

Emmeline C. Steiner D'Angelo

Mrs. D'Angelo, 53, of Old Bridge, died June 29 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was a part-time school bus driver at Browntown Bus Service, Old Bridge. She was s a former Girl Scout Leader. She is survived by her husband, Carl; three daughters, Carlyn, Kristin and Jennifer, all at home; and a sister, Barbara Kirby of Naples, Fla. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was at Forest Green Memorial Park, Marlboro. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

Martin M. "Mike" Connors

Mr. Connors, 89, of Old Bridge, died June 24 at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was employed at Lightolier, Jersey City, for 45 years, retiring in 1980. Mr. Connors served the Township of Old Bridge for approximately 50 years, as zoning officer, sewerage authority, township court clerk, and commissioner of the Municipal Utilities Authority. He had a million-gallon water tank dedicated in his honor in 2005. He was founder of the 3rd Ward Democratic Club, Madison Park section of Old Bridge. Mr. Connors was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Kathryn, in 1987. He is survived by his children, Kathie and Leonard Foderaro of Sayreville, Michael Connors of Bayville, Nayna and Sean Carney of Old Bridge, Brian Connors of Carteret, and Nan and Gregory Michaels of Bridgewater; and 13 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, Parlin, followed by interment at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, was in charge of arrangements.

Alice Healy

Mrs. Healy, 85, of Old Bridge, died June 30 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis X. in 1994. She is survived buy two sons, Michael F. of Cape May, and Dennis G. of Maryland; three daughters, Mary L. Bartell of Staten Island, N.Y., Kathleen A. Healy of Old Bridge, and Alice E. Healy of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a brother, Francis Devine of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at ST. Bernadette Church, Parlin. Interment was at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

Richard LaVecchia Sr.

Mr. LaVecchia, 76, of Old Bridge, died July 1 at home. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean in 1978. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and RoseAnn LaVecchia Jr. of Old Bridge; a daughter, Gina Amato; two brothers, Anthony and Michael, both of Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Rosemarie Sciaccia of Long Island; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

Robert K. Lenart Jr.

Mr. Lenart, 28, of Colts Neck, died June 29 at home. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Sayreville, prior to moving to Colts Neck 11 years ago. He was an event planner at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, the past year. He was predeceased by his father, Robert K. Lenart Sr. in 1987; his paternal grandparents Mary and Stephen Lenart; and his maternal grandparents, Rosalie and Chester Bachonski. He is survived by his mother, Christine Lenart and her husband, Gary Mireau of Colts Neck; a brother, Nicholas Lenart of Colts Neck; two stepbrothers, Craig Mireau and Brett Mireau; and his step-grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville. Arrangements were by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Memorial donations may be made to The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, 1562 Route 130, North Brunswick 08902.

Ronald Anthony Macari

Mr. Macari, 36, of Simi Valley, Calif., and formerly Old Bridge, died June 15 in West Hills, Calif., following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He resided in Old Bridge prior to moving to California 18 years ago. He was predeceased by his father, Michael Anthony Macari. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Hunt Macari of Old Bridge; a daughter, Autumn Macari of Los Angeles; two brothers and one sister-in-law, David and Laura Macari of Toms River, and Michael Macari; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lisa Macari of Newark, Del., Deborah and Stephen Windrem of Sayreville, and Linda and Kurt Gillis of Kearney; and several nieces and nephews. Burial was at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville.

Dorothy L. Murtha Trella

Mrs. Trella, 87, of South Amboy, died June 28 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen P. Trella in 1985; a son, Robert Trella in 1993; and a daughter, Dorothy Herrold in 2000. She is survived by a son, Richard Trella of Roselle; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy, with interment at the church cemetery. Arrangements were by The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.

Josephine Campione Santamaria

Mrs. Santamaria, 86, of Cheesequake Village, died June 25 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., prior to moving to Old Bridge Township three years ago. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Nicholas; a son, John; two daughters, Angela Centofante and Louise Santamaria; a brother, John Campione; a sister, Millie Mastrogiovanni; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Francis Xavier Church, Brooklyn, N.Y. Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

Carmen J. Fazio

Mr. Fazio, 92, of South Amboy, died June 25 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a member of the Exempt Firemen's Association, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699, Sayreville. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Frank. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Josephine G. Milazzo Fazio; a brother, Dr. Vincent J. Fazio of Hollywood, Fla.; a sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law; two nieces; and four nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy, followed by interment at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, was in charge of arrangements.

Alexander M. Khoudiakov

Alexander M. Khoudiakov, 12, of East Brunswick, died June 26 in East Brunswick. He was a student at Hammarskjold School, East Brunswick, and had been a student at the Frost School, East Brunswick, and the Wilson School, Sayreville. Alexander was predeceased by his father, Maxim Khoudiakov, in 2003. He is survived by his mother, Irina Lazoutchenkova; a brother, Maxim Lazoutchenkova of East Brunswick; and his maternal grandmother, Anastasia Lazoutchenkova, and paternal grandparents, Nina and Vladimir Khoudiakov, all of Russia. Burial took place at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Cemetery, East Brunswick. The Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, was in charge of arrangements.

Edward N. Razook

Mr. Razook, 81, of East Brunswick, died July 2 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He had resided in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Old Bridge before moving to East Brunswick 33 years ago. Mr. Razook was predeceased survived by his wife, Hilda Razook; and a nephew. Burial took place at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. The Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Karl Shannon

Mrs. Shannon, 70, of South River, died June 27 at home. She resided in Old Bridge before moving to South River 42 years ago. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Barney Shannon. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Old Bridge, followed by burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Arrangements were by the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
