Oct. 26-31

+ Pumpkin Patch, sponsored by Simpson United Methodist Church, noon to 8 p.m. Sundays-Fridays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, at the church, 2095 Route 516 at Owens Road, Old Bridge. All varieties of pumpkins; gourds; Indian corn; cornstalks; candy; baked goods; snacks and beverages. Children's play area featuring a small "moonwalk," face-painting, live musical performances (on select days) offered on weekends. + Haunted House, sponsored by the Middlesex County 4-H Teen Council, 7-11 p.m., at the Middlesex County 4-H Center, Cranbury and Fern roads, East Brunswick. Admission is $2 per person. + Children's Halloween Tricky Tray, sponsored by St. Stan's Athletic Association, noon to 4 p.m., costume parade at 1:30 p.m., drawings begin at 2 p.m., at St. Stanislaus Kostka School, 221 MacArthur Ave., Sayreville. + Giant Garage Sale, sponsored by Sayreville Pet Adoption Center, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the shelter parking lot, 1400 Main St., Sayreville. Donations of items for the sale accepted at the shelter from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 28; no exceptions will be made to the drop-off schedule. Clothing, linens, shoes will not be accepted. + Think Pink Party and Laugh, Love and Live Luncheon, sponsored by St. Bartholomew Columbiettes, 2-5 p.m., in St. Bartholomew's Church Hall, 460 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. All women welcome. Participants asked to wear a pink outfit to celebrate the lives of women who have suffered from breast cancer. Tickets: $25 per person.
