Comedy shows to aid Main Street Players

The Comedy Shoppe Comedy Cafe Shows to benefit the Sayreville Main Street Players are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Nov. 10 and Dec. 15 at the Main Street Theater, 3018 Bordentown Ave., Parlin section of Sayreville. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

The shows will star comedian Kenny Michaels, who is regularly heard on "The Jim Brewer Show" on Sirius Satellite Radio and appears at Bananas Comedy Club and the Gotham Comedy Club, New York City.

Opening acts will include Joe Fernandes and Chris Johnston.

Tickets cost $10 each. Light fare, coffee, baked goods and soft drinks will be offered for sale.
