Led by goalkeeper Melina Kontos, who made several spectacular saves, the defense prevented Berkeley from any more scoring. Fine defensive play from Kelsey Dunnigan, Emily Garcia, Megan Huddy and Amber Lynn Vargas forced their opponent to shoot from further out than they wanted. Late in the first half Kelly Cameron scored the tying goal with offensive help from Kimmie D'Emilio, Kristen Jezycki and Alanna Perotta. Kelsiann Acer opened the second half, scoring with an early goal to give the Revolution the lead that would hold up super all-around play by Sydnie Martinez, and Melissa Jerome sealed the gritty effort.

Highlights this year included first-place titles in the Hamilton and Boston, Massachusetts tournaments, first place in Mid Jersey Spring League play, as well as top three finishes at the Old Bridge, Union, Readington and Roselle Park tournaments.
