'Wright Brothers' to be staged in Monroe

The Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission will present the TheatreworksUSA musical production of "First in Flight, The Wright Brothers" at 2 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Richard P. Marasco Performing Arts Center, Monroe Township High School, Perrineville Road.

The one-hour musical, which is suitable for all ages, is based on the play "Flight" by Arthur Giron and tells the story of the Wright Brothers' first successful flight at Kitty Hawk, N.C., in 1903.

Tickets ($5 for adults, $3 for patrons, free of charge to children) are available in advance at the Monroe Senior Center, Municipal Plaza, and at the door on the day of the performance.
