Victorian Christmas coming to museum

The Thomas Warne Museum and the Madison Township Historical Society will present their first Victorian Christmas Celebration from 1-8 p.m. on Dec. 16 at the Thomas Warne Museum, Route 516, across from Old Bridge High School.

The celebration will feature traditional 19th-century refreshments, songs and music by a period quintet; an appearance by a toy maker; tree-trimming; costumed hosts; and a visit from Father Christmas.

A suggested donation of $10 for adults, $5 for children, students and seniors is requested but not required. Donations of nonperishable canned goods to benefit local food banks would be appreciated.

For more information, call (732) 566-2108, noon to 6 p.m.
