Groups rate praise for honoring fallen vets

I would like to send my sincere gratitude to the veterans of American Legion Post No. 211 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699, both Sayreville, who honored my brother, Woodrow Haussermann, with a street sign in Sayreville and with a plaque at the library. It is so gratifying to know that he is not forgotten after all these years.

The veterans have always gone above and beyond for their fallen brothers, and that is extremely comforting to the families who have lost a loved one.

It is hard to find enough words of praise for all they have done, but I want them to know that I deeply appreciate their efforts. Sincere thanks to all.
