University of Rochester senior forward Brian Tuohy has been named to the ESPN The Magazine College Division First Team Academic All-America Team in men’s soccer by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Tuohy is a native of Sayreville. He was a three-sport athlete (soccer, tennis, track) at Bishop George Ahr High School in Edison from 1998 to 2002, then played soccer and tennis at The Hun School in Princeton. His name was placed on the national ballot after he earned First Team Academic All-District honors (New York and New England) in CoSIDA balloting. Senior forward Tyler Green (Dallas, TX/Jesuit College Prep) earned Second Team Academic All-District honors.

Tuohy played in 15 of Rochester’s 18 games. He had one goal and three assists for five points. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year. He is a member of Keidaeans, the university’s senior honor society. He is the president of the Rochester chapter of the Golden Key International Honor Society.

The Jersey Bombers U14 Baseball Club is looking for quality, dedicated players to add to its roster for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. The team will play in competitive weekend leagues and tournaments. Excellent coaching, player exposure and indoor winter training. Players age cutoff date is May 1, 1992.
