Sayreville AARP sets meeting, offers trips

Sayreville AARP Chapter 4853 will hold its monthly general meeting at noon on Jan. 18 at the Sayreville Senior Center, 423 Main St.

Greg Cross will offer the afternoon’s program, “Magic, Comedy and Diabetes.” Andrea Purscell will follow with a presentation about entertainment and the Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank.

The chapter will sponsor two upcoming motor-coach trips. Members and nonmembers are invited.

A trip to Atlantic City is planned for Jan. 27.

The group will offer an excursion to Radio City Music Hall, New York City, to see the 2 p.m. Feb. 17 performance of “New Tang Dynasty, Chinese New Year.”

Cost is $99 per person for round-trip motor coach transportation and show ticket.

Participants will have time to shop and eat after the show. Seating is limited.
