Walter Wlodarczyk
Mr. Wlodarczyk, 96, of Sayreville, died Nov. 30, 2006, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1973, he was employed as a chemical operator at Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 23 years. Surviving are his wife, Anielia Mitera Wlodarczyk; two sons, Walter Jr. and Edward, both of Sayreville; a brother, Theodor of Poland; and two grandsons. Services were held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Alexander J. Kizlinski
Mr. Kizlinski, 91, of South River, died Dec. 9, 2006, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement, he owned Kizlinski’s Shoe and Orthopedic Repair Shop, South River, for many years. He retired in 1979 from Algro Knitting Mills, Milltown. Surviving are his wife, Laura S. Barglowski Kizlinski; three children, Alex S. Kizlinski and Dorothy Hefner, both of South River, and Frank Kizlinski of Inola, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Eleanor Buntalik Beltran
Mrs. Beltran, 74, formerly of the Sayrewoods South and Parlin sections of Old Bridge, died Nov. 29, 2006. Surviving are two sons, Gregory of Howell and Jesse of Vacaville, Calif.; two daughters, Stacey DiMeglio of Monroe and Jacqueline of Howell; and six grandchildren. Private services and entombment were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 1 Meridian Road, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
Raymond F. Sielewicki
Mr. Sielewicki, 83, of South River, died Dec. 24, 2006, in Haven Hospice, Edison. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he was employed as a custodian with the South River Board of Education. Prior to that, he worked at National Lead Industries, Sayreville. He was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa R. Sielewicki. Surviving are his wife, Mary Dzinglewski Sielewicki; a son, Ted Sielewicki of East Brunswick; a daughter, Maryann Cunha of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge; a brother, Stanley Sielewicki of Sun City, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
John W. Glock
Mr. Glock, 85, of Old Bridge, formerly of Spotswood, died Dec. 21, 2006, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1984, he was employed as a machinist with Kimberly-Clark, Spotswood, where he worked for 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Verna Farley Glock; three daughters, Judith Champion Legones of Lambertville, Jacqueline Dushkevich of Spotswood and Victoria Curcio of Allentown, Pa.; two brothers, James and William, both of Tucson, Ariz.; four sisters, Shirley Leary and Barbara Jageman, both of Spotswood, Joan Worthington of Freehold and Lorraine Gramlich of Wood-Ridge; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Cremation was private. Daniel Kolakowski
Mr. Kolakowski, 72, of Edison, formerly of South Amboy and New Brunswick, died Dec. 17, 2006, in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Surviving are four brothers, Arthur Kolakowski, Edwin Kolakowski, Henry A. Kolakowski and Charles Collins; two sisters, Eleanor Barraclough and Claire Talan; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Private services were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
Barbara Berkowitz Cresci
Mrs. Cresci, 70, of East Brunswick, died Dec. 22, 2006, in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. A son, Adam, died in 1997. Surviving are her husband, Carl; a daughter, Debra Shannon, and her husband, Keith, of Ellicott City, Md.; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Alice Price
Mrs. Price, 93, of East Brunswick, died Dec. 22, 2006, in Monroe Village. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary with Johnson and Johnson Personal Products, North Brunswick. Her husband, Henry W. Price, died in 1990. Surviving is a son, Barry Price of Neptune. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.
Richard N. Kalfayan
Mr. Kalfayan, 77, of the Morganville section of Marlboro, died Dec. 16, 2006, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He and his wife came to the United States in 1964 and had lived in East Brunswick before moving to Morganville 10 years ago. Mr. Kalfayan owned and managed World Travel Experts Inc., Morganville. He was a member of St. Stepanos Armenian Church, Elberon. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Alice; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Jr. and Denise Kalfayan of Morganville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Liza and Mark Gudzak of East Brunswick, and Tina and Donald Albach of Monroe; and nine grandchildren. A funeral service was held at St. Stepanos Armenian Church, with the Very Rev. Mamigon Kiledjian officiating. Interment followed at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
Robert A. Hobson Sr.
Mr. Hobson, 77, of Freehold, died Dec. 14 at The Manor Care Center, Freehold Township. Born in Quincy, Mass., he moved to Staten Island, N.Y., when he was 10 years old. He had lived in the Great Kills section of Staten Island before moving to Toms River and had resided in Freehold for the past six years. Prior to retiring in 1987, he was a chief engineer for the New York City Department of Marine and Aviation for 25 years. He was a member of the Great Kills Yacht Club, Staten Island, and District Council 37, New York City. Mr. Hobson was predeceased in 2000 by his first wife, Joan Kelly, and in 1968 by a sister, Patricia Hillis. Surviving are his wife, Mary E. Jackson-Hobson of Freehold; three sons, Robert A. Hobson Jr. and Christopher J. Hobson, both of Old Bridge, and William K. Hobson of Melbourne, Fla.; two daughters, Sheila Stubbs of Cookeville, Tenn., and JoAnn Gutkes of Toms River; two sisters, Penelope Bates and Priscilla Brenner, both of El Cajon, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. The funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private.
Marian “Robbie” Terrick Szatkowski
Mrs. Szatkowski, 64, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died Dec. 21, 2006, in Haven Hospice, Edison. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; a son, Joseph W. of Cranbury; two daughters, Laurie Lynch of the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey and MaryLynn Riemann of East Brunswick; two brothers, Martin and Richard Terrick, both of Munhall, Pa.; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Leonard Mazauskas
Mr. Mazauskas, 72, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, died Dec. 19, 2006, at home. He was born in Mount Carmel, Pa. Mr. Mazauskas was a driver and warehouseman at Anheuser Busch, Newark, for 35 years, retiring in 1998. He was predeceased by three sisters, Florence Galbraith, Mildred Hern and Genny Cordasco; and two brothers, Joseph and Edward Mazauskas. He is survived by his wife, Marge Mazauskas; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Chris and Lorraine Mazauskas of Perth Amboy, Lenny and Janet Mazauskas of Union Beach, Bob Mazauskas of Port Monmouth, and Jaime and Diane Mazauskas of Sayreville; a daughter, Donna Mazauskas; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Eleanor and John Salzano of Florida, Barbara Fay of Massachusetts, and Lillian and Jerry Cohen of Florida; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, George and Stella Mazauskas of the Leonardo section of Middletown, Albert Mazauskas of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, and Richard Mazauskas of Keyport; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Visitation will take place Dec. 21 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
