Madison Park Girls Softball League will be holding final in-person registration for the upcoming season on Jan. 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Old Bridge Library; and Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Madison Park Little League Fieldhouse, located on Cheesequake Road behind the Madison Park Firehouse. Ages 5-17 by June 30 are eligible. There is a $65 registration fee, ($50 for T-ball), with a $100 maximum family plan. No work bond. New players need copy of birth certificate. Madison Park Little League will be holding registration at the field house located on Cheesequake Road in Old Bridge on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All new children need to bring their original birth certificates. The Sayreville Recreation Wrestling sixth-grade-and-under program attended the Fords Holiday Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 30. Being coached by Stephen Fischer, John Metz and Paul Munier, the following wrestlers placed accordingly:

On the B team, first-place winners were Hunter Knoth, Jason Inganamorte, Dean Westberry and Anthony Taillefer; second-place finishers included Andrew Fischer, Dylan Taillefer and Jacob White; third-place winners were Ralph Feola, Cody O'Neill, Michael Porcaro and Tayler O'Neill; and fourth-place finishers were Noah Perez and Jesse Cancel.

On the A team, Anthony Pestonit finished first, Matthew Pestonit took a second, Matt Libecci, Richard Cook, Michael Forcella, Cory Knoth, Brett Dzamba, Nick Taillefer and Bryan McMahon finished third, and Dylan Kelleher, Anthony Porcaro and Joseph Fischer finished fourth.
