Fundraisers Jan. 18-31 + Wounded Warrior Project Drive, sponsored by the Spotswood High School History Club and Octagon Community Service Club. Project provides returning amputee and wheelchair veterans (who have served in the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan and other locations around the world) with a backpack filled with personal and other needed items upon their arrival at a military hospital in the United States. Contents of each backpack cost $99. Pack will display a luggage tag noting name and address of sponsor. Jan. 19 + Tricky Tray, sponsored by Spotswood High School DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), doors open at 5:30 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m., at the high school, Summerhill Road.
