Feb. 1

+ Dining to Donate, sponsored by the East Brunswick High School Basketball Booster Club Association, noon to closing, at Applebee's of Milltown, Milltown Road and Ryders Lane. Diners who eat in or take out must present a Dining to Donate flier at the restaurant. Applebee's will donate 10 percent of suppporters' bills to the booster club. Feb. 1, ongoing

+ Art Sale, to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, sponsored by River Mill Art Gallery in conjunction with the Spotswood High School History Club and club adviser Frank Yusko, at the gallery, 34 Main St., South River. Project provides returning amputee and wheelchair veterans with a backpack "recovery package" filled with personal and other needed items upon their arrival at a military hospital in the United States. Veterans have served in the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, other locations around the world. Items such as jewelry, prints, posters (framed and unframed) will be reduced by 50-80 percent for the sale. All proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior effort.
