Valentine's open house slated at pet shelter

The Sayreville Pet Adoption Center will host a Valentine's Open House and Adoption Event from 1-4 p.m. on Feb. 10 and 11 at the shelter, 1400 Main St.

Complimentary sweet treats, beverages and goodies will be given to all visitors. Participants will have an opportunity to shop the Valentine's Day boutique featuring gifts for pets and pet lovers. Anna's famous homemade gourmet chocolates for people and carob-dipped biscuits for pets will be available. There will be door prizes, raffles and special incentives for individuals who adopt a pet.
