Fundraisers

Feb. 16

+ Dining to Donate, to benefit the East Brunswick High School Drama Club, 4:30 p.m. to closing, at Applebee's of Milltown, Milltown Road and Ryders Lane. Diners who eat in or take out must present a Dining-to-Donate flier at the restaurant. Applebee's will donate 10 percent of supporters' bills to the East Brunswick High East Brunswick High School Drama Club/PAPAs (Performing Arts Parents Association). + Father/Daughter Luau Dance, sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes School, doors open at 6 p.m., music and dancing from 7-9 p.m., at the school, 44 Cleveland Ave., Milltown. Dinner food, refreshments, souvenir photos, chances for basket raffles available for purchase. Girls in prekindergarten-eighth grades invited to bring their fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, big brothers, etc. Participants asked to dress in tropical-themed attire. + Tricky Tray, sponsored by the Sayreville War Memorial High School Choir, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m., at Sayreville Middle School, Washington Road. Snow date: Feb. 23. Items including Park Hopper Tickets for Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla., and gift certificates for restaurants, golf, jewelry, manicures and more, will be raffled off. Admission is $5; includes sheet of tickets, free coffee and dessert. Food available for purchase; outside food not permitted. Children under age 14 will not be admitted. Feb. 17

+ Donut Dance, sponsored by the Sacred Heart Church Rosary Society,

+ Book and Bake Sale, sponsored by the Friends of the South River Library, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the library, 55 Appleby Ave. Used books, magazines, assorted music, VHS tapes. Fill a box for $5. Homemade baked goods available for purchase. While parents shop, youngsters are invited to view the free public movie, "Open Season," set to begin at 11 a.m. (732) 254-2488.

+ Lenten Fish-Fry Dinners, sponsored by Our Lady of Victory Columbiettes, 4:30-7 p.m., at the Knights of Columbus Victorian Hall, 775 Washington Road, Parlin section of Sayreville. Broiled- or fried-fish dinners, salad bar, dessert. Takeouts available. Telephone orders will not be accepted.

+ Dining to Donate, to benefit Pixie Preschool and Kindergarten, 429 Main St., Spotswood, at Applebee's of Milltown, Milltown Road and Ryders Lane. Diners who eat in or take out must present a Dining-to-Donate flier. Applebee's will donate 10 percent of supporters' bills to the school. Flier must be presented for the donation to count.
