Pasquale "Pat" Anthony DeFalco
Mr. DeFalco, 80, of the Madison Park section of Old Bridge, died Jan. 25, 2007, at home. Surviving are his wife, Rose Marie Testa DeFalco; his children and their spouses, Gregory and Patti DeFalco and Annette and Bob Winkler, all of the Parlin section of Sayreville, Anne Marie and Bill Oels of Sayreville, Elaine and Donald Mire of Metairie, La., Pat DeFalco and Jenette Saia of Hackettstown; a brother, Sam DeFalco; four sisters, Cecilia DelGaldo, Rose Decaito, Carmella Gamara and Jennie Mancuso; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Mary L. Class Gallery
Mrs. Gallery, 86, of Hazlet, died Feb. 9, 2007, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she resided in Bayonne, and the Madison Park section of Old Bridge, prior to relocating to Hazlet in 2005. She was employed at Astro Moulding, Old Bridge, retiring in 1998. Prior to that, she was employed at W.T. Grant, Old Bridge. She was a life member of Madison Park Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary since 1956. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward in 1964; and two sons, Edward II in 1992, and Donald in 1999. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Maryjayne; a daughter-in-law, Judith Gallery; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.
William Brady
Mr. Brady, 81, of Old Bridge, died Jan. 24, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a salesman at Dayton Dodge, Dayton section of South Brunswick. His wife, Barbara Beverly Weinbrock Brady, died in 1993. Surviving are three sons, Kevin Brady of North Brunswick, Shawn Brady of Belleplain and Patrick Brady of Spring Lake; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Anita Tricado Del Duca
Mrs. Del Duca, 64, of Manchester, formerly of Sayreville, died Jan. 30, 2007, in Care One of East Brunswick. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Loretta Tricado. Surviving are her husband, Anthony Del Duca; five children, Anthony, and his wife, Laurie, of Hamilton, Lori-Ann Urbanski, and her husband, Ned, and John, and his wife, Renee, all of Sayreville, Michael of Jersey City and Tracey Del Duca of Morris; a sister, Rosalind Esemplare of South Amboy; five grandchildren; and a nephew. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
Edward Majkowski
Mr. Majkowski, 96, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, formerly of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Feb. 2, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. His wife, Helen Przekupowski Majkowski, died in 1992. Surviving are three children, Dorothy Ann Majkowski of Parlin, Edward J. Majkowski, and his wife, Mary, of Sayreville, and Mary Ann Engle, and her husband, Kenneth, of Brick; two sisters, Eleanor Radwanski of Carlstadt and Gertrude Stepanski of Westfield; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Marian Elva Feltz
Mrs. Feltz, 84, of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Jan. 28, 2007, in Hernando Pascal Hospice, New Port Richey. Her husband, John, died in 1980. Surviving are three children, John, and his wife, Patricia, of Stuart, Fla., Roger, and his wife, Barbara, of Allentown, and Elva Thompson and her husband, Bill, of New Port Richey; a sister, Helen Ingram of Deland, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment was in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
Frances Ferris
Mrs. Ferris, 89, of Old Bridge, died Feb. 12, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are a daughter, Anne Danna, and her husband, Natale, of Old Bridge; a son, Thomas Ferris, and his wife, Mary Kay, of Union; a brother, John Castellano of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation is set for 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Feb. 15 at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Services are planned for 11 a.m. on Feb. 16 at St. Lucy Church, Scranton, Pa. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, also Scranton.
Judith A. Hudson Ignaccolo
Mrs. Ignaccolo, 64, of the Cheesequake Village section of Old Bridge, died Feb. 9, 2007, in Care One, Holmdel. Prior to her retirement in 2006, she was a bus driver with Milo Bus Co., Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, where she worked for six years. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Shocody, in 2000, and by her parents, Joseph and Katherine Butler Hudson. Surviving are her husband, Charles Ignaccolo; a daughter, Susan Shocody, and her companion, Edward Magruder, of Middletown; two sisters, Karen Powell of Hazlet and Katherine Murphy of Downingtown, Pa.; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 22 Church St., Keansburg, NJ 07734.
Anne Brower Francik
Mrs. Francik, 84, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Feb. 8, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Elmer J. Francik, died in 1994. Surviving are two sons, Edward Francik and Richard Francik; and three sisters, Mary DeMarc, Theresa Reitermyer and Claire Carlucci. Services were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin.
Esther B. McLaughlin
Mrs. McLaughlin, 88, of Penhook, Va., died Feb. 5, 2007, at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital, Rocky Mount, Va. She was born in South Amboy and had lived in the Cheesequake section of Old Bridge, Freehold Township and Waretown before moving to Penhook two years ago. Prior to retiring several years ago, she was a secretary for DuPont, Parlin section of Sayreville, for 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo J. McLaughlin Sr., in 1984. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Leo J. Jr. and Ruth McLaughlin of Penhook; two grandsons, Guy William McLaughlin and Leo J. (Staci) McLaughlin III; and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
Rose M. Moneypenny Thompson
Mrs. Thompson, 96, of Honey Brook, Pa., formerly of Sayreville, died Feb. 10, 2007, in Tel Hai Retirement Community, Honey Brook. Prior to her retirement in 1966, she worked for 10 years as a bookkeeper in her late husband's businesses, Thompson Electric and Thompson Oil, both Sayreville. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew L. Thompson, and by a granddaughter, Andrea Thompson. Surviving are two children, Bob Thompson, and his wife, Martha, of West Chester, Pa., and Lee Thompson and his wife, Beverly of Rutland, Vt.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at the First Presbyterian Church of Sayreville. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Joseph A. Vitale
Mr. Vitale, 50, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Feb. 4, 2007, in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a security guard through U.S. Associates, Woodbridge. His father, Samuel, died in 1989. Surviving are his mother, Rose Vitale; a sister, Rose Marie Loniewski, and her husband, Thomas; a niece; and his fiancée, Angel Wang. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Cremation was private.
