Fundraisers Feb. 22 + Dining to Donate, to benefit Pixie Preschool and Kindergarten, 429 Main St., Spotswood, at Applebee's of Milltown, Milltown Road and Ryders Lane. Diners who eat in or take out must present a Dining-to-Donate flier. Applebee's will donate 10 percent of supporters' bills to the school. Flier must be presented for the donation to count. Feb. 23 + Fish Fry, sponsored by St. Stan's HSA, 4-7 p.m., in the St. Stanislaus Kostka School cafeteria, 221 MacArthur Ave., Sayreville. Dinners include filet of flounder; vegetable; choice of baked potato, fries or haluski (noodles and cabbage); beverage; dessert. Kitchen also will offer a-la-carte pizza, macaroni and cheese, clam chowder, mozzarella sticks, haluski. Tickets cost $12. Advance order strongly recommended; only a limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door. Feb. 24 + Peace-Treaty Poker and Silent Auction, sponsored by East Brunswick Hadassah, 8 p.m., at the East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane. Peace-Treaty Poker is a fast-paced game in which each hand is played against a different pair of players. Silent auction features numerous prizes. Refreshments. Admission is $18 per person. Feb. 25 + St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Bowl-for-Life, to help raise funds for children stricken with diseases including cancer, AIDS and sickle-cell anemia, 1 p.m., at Mid-State Bowl, Route 18, East Brunswick. Public urged to participate and attend. Volunteer coordinator is Zach Stetson of East Brunswick. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., recognized for its work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.
