Bargain Book Sale will mark 33rd year

The 33rd annual Bargain Book and Media Sale, sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library, will take place from March 19-25 in the J.C. Penney court at Brunswick Square Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick.

Hours on opening day, March 19, will be 7-9:30 p.m. The sale will continue March 20-24 from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on March 25 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a $1 admission charge on the first night only; current Friends members will be admitted free of charge. In the interest of safety, children under 8 years of age should not attend on opening night.

The East Brunswick Library Puppeteers will offer free puppet shows for youngsters at 7 and 7:30 p.m. on March 21 and 22.

The sale will feature thousands of gently used hardcover and paperback books, audiobooks, video games, computer software, collectors items and a large selection of DVDs and CDs - all at discounted prices.

Cash and checks may be used as payment for purchases. Credit cards will not be accepted. Proceeds from the book sale will benefit the East Brunswick Friends of the Library.

For more information, call (732) 390-6783 or visit the library's Web site at www.ebpl.org and click on News and Events.
