Recreation department sponsors trips, programs

The Milltown Department of Recreation will offer a variety of upcoming events. All trips and programs are open to residents and nonresidents.

Seats are available for the 3 p.m. May 5 performance of "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the State Theatre, New Brunswick. Cost is $60 per ticket, orchestra seating. Participants must supply their own transportation.

"Fundamental 4's T-Ball," a basic program for 4-year-olds, will begin on May 5. Registration is going on through March 15. Cost is $25 for residents, $50 for nonresidents.

The recreation department is seeking adult women's softball teams for the 2007 season set to begin in April. Residents and nonresidents are welcome.

AARP driving course

coming to O.B. Library

An AARP Defensive Driving Course will be held at 10 a.m. on March 21 and 22 at the Old Bridge Public Library, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.

Participants must attend both sessions to receive a certificate.
