Candidate withdraws from race

I was one of the four candidates running this year for the Board of Education for the Old Bridge school district. There has been a significant change that recently occurred regarding a private matter, which now requires my withdrawal from this election.

This has been a hard decision for me, especially because of my desire to be a part of helping the children's education and to have an opportunity to serve as a board member and support the Old Bridge school district.

I will continue my efforts to support the school district by remaining active as a PTA member, Chamber of Commerce president and branch manager working in a local bank, and by continuing to serve the community to the best of my ability. I intend to run again in future elections when a more appropriate time allows me to do so and when I will be able to focus my full attention on the board.

I want to thank all family, friends, clients and businesses for their support and for believing that I would have been an instrumental member if elected. I wish the best to the remaining candidates and to the current board members on ensuring the best for our children's education, and I hope to be able to serve the board in the future.
