Sports Shorts There will be an informal Slowpitch Men's Softball League on Saturday mornings at Field One in Thompson Park, starting April 7. The league is looking for more softball players, men 55 and over, to join in on the fun. The Central Jersey Vipers, an 18U Old Bridge based girls fastpitch softball travel team, is looking for pitchers for the 2007 softball season. The Vipers had a very successful 2006 season, winning and placing in several tournaments as a 16U team and will be moving up to 18U for the 2007 season.
