Sayreville Dems seek potential candidates

The Sayreville Democratic Organization (SDO) is accepting résumés and letters of interest from individuals who would like to be selected as the SDO's candidates for mayor or Borough Council in 2007.

To be eligible, an individual must be a registered voter residing in the borough of Sayreville and have been a registered Democrat for no less than two years prior to the date of the primary election. Potential candidates also must submit a letter to the SDO stating that they wish to be considered for office and will accept the responsibilities of office and abide by the rules and regulations of the SDO.

All letters of interest and résumés must be submitted by 4 p.m. on March 23 to The Sayreville Democratic Organization, 3145 Bordentown Ave., Suite C, Parlin, NJ 08859; fax (732) 525-1480. For more information, call (732) 525-1400.

The SDO will meet to select candidates at 7:30 p.m. on March 27 at the Sayreville Democratic Headquarters, ShopRite Plaza, Parlin. Any individual interested in being a candidate must attend the meeting.

Family Storytimes

coming to O.B. Library

The Youth Services Department of the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, will hold Family Storytimes for all ages at 7 p.m. on Thursdays and 11 a.m. on Saturdays.
