Five arrested in alleged drug distribution rings SAYREVILLE - - Two unrelated narcotics investigations led to the arrests of five suspects recently and the recovery of some large quantities of heroin and cocaine. The two sets of arrests were the result of investigations conducted by both the Sayreville and Old Bridge police narcotics bureaus, according to Sayreville Police Chief John Garbowski. Police made three arrests March 13 in connection with an alleged heroin distribution operation at the Parkway Motor Lodge, Route 35. The suspects, John A. Trimore, 31, of Parlin; Jennifer L. Boulos, 31, of South Amboy; and Lindsay M. Tunyla, 24, of Old Bridge, were each charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, and conspiracy to possess and distribute heroin. Bail for each was set at $50,000. Police made the arrests after acting on information regarding Boulos, who was residing at the motel, and possible drug activity taking place, according to the report. Authorities found an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency along with the 50 bags of heroin when making the arrest. On March 15, police following up on a separate, monthlong investigation arrested a Parlin couple that was allegedly connected to the large-scale distribution of cocaine, according to authorities. Timothy Scott and his girlfriend, Jennifer Enos, both 27, were charged at their Parlin home with possession of cocaine, distribution of cocaine, conspiracy to distribute cocaine and possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school zone. Officers in the borough's Narcotics Bureau executed search warrants at the couple's residence and seized 5 ounces of cocaine, about a half-ounce of crack cocaine, approximately $20,000 in U.S. currency, a 2006 Mercedes-Benz and a 2004 Nissan pickup truck. Scott's bail was set at $500,000, with no 10 percent option, while Enos' bail was set at $250,000, also with no 10 percent option. - Michael Acker
