Donations sought for pet shelter garage sale

Sayreville Pet Adoption Center, 1400 Main St., will hold a Giant Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 15 (the date was incorrect in last week's newspaper) in the shelter's parking lot.

Donations of items for the sale will be accepted at the shelter from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 13 and 14 only. Linens and shoes will not be accepted.

Proceeds will benefit the pets housed at the shelter.

Dance to the oldies

at O.B. Knights hall

A Spring Rock 'N' Roll Oldies Dance is set for 8-11 p.m. on April 20 at Knights of Columbus No. 4815 Council Hall, 61 Pine St., Old Bridge.

The event will feature music by a DJ and dancing to the sounds of the '50s and '60s. Admission is $9 per person and includes coffee, tea, soda and dessert. Singles are welcome.
