Omer to be topic of April 18 lecture in E.B.

The Mekor Chaim Hesder Ambassador Program will sponsor a community lecture by Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, founder of the Mekor Chaim network of educational institutions in Israel, at 8:30 p.m. on April 16 at Young Israel of East Brunswick, 193 Dunhams Corner Road.

The rabbi will offer a presentation titled "What Happened During the Omer?," the 49-day period between the Jewish holidays of Passover and Shavuot.
