Obituaries Grace M. Bivona Graziano Mrs. Graziano, 93, of Old Bridge, died April 12, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New York City, she had resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., before relocating to Old Bridge 10 years ago. Mrs. Graziano was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor. She was a member of Club 60, Matawan, and the Old Bridge Seniors. Mrs. Graziano is survived by her husband, Joseph Graziano; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and John Sefel of Hazlet; a sister, Mary Lou Cupani of Hollywood, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Lawrence's Church. Entombment was at St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Keyport. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
Connie (Placco) Incorvia Mrs. Incorvia, 82, of Freehold, died April 10, 2007, at Bartley Healthcare Nursing & Rehabilitation, Jackson. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she had resided in Old Bridge before moving to Freehold. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Mrs. Incorvia was predeceased by her husband, Philip Incorvia, in 1984. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Nancy Incorvia of Iowa, Philip and Denise Incorvia of Connecticut, and Robert and Audrey Incorvia of Howell; three sisters, Marie, Josie and Martha; two brothers, Tony and Tom; five grandsons; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson. Funeral services were held at the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Entombment took place at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
Victor J. Romatowski Mr. Romatowski, 79, of Troy, Pa., formerly of South River and East Brunswick, died March 16, 2007, in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, Pa. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the East Brunswick Parks Department. He also served as a policeman and a fireman and ran a dairy, a milk-delivery business and a septic business in East Brunswick. He was a Democratic councilman in South River and a Democratic committeeman in East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Goldy Romatowski; six sons and daughters-in-law, Victor III and Linda Romatowski of South Brunswick, Thomas and Tina Romatowski of Highland Park, Donald and Diane Romatowski of North Brunswick, John and Diane Romatowski of East Brunswick, Joseph and Cathy Gallagher of Monroe and Anthony Romatowski of Mansfield, Pa.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Gary Cote of Connecticut, Victoria Slomian of Columbia Cross Roads Pa., Maureen Williamson of Sayre, Pa., and Susan and Gregory Baldwin of Canton, Pa.; two sisters, Frances Kahora of New Tripoli, Pa., and Genevieve Murozko of East Brunswick; three brothers, Edward Romatowski of Luray, Va., Chester Romatowski of Lavallette and Joe Romatowski of Phippsburg, Maine; and 21 grandchildren. Services were held at Gary W. Wilston Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Mansfield, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills section of Pemberton.
Antonina Schroll Mrs. Schroll, 58, of Spotswood, formerly of South River, died March 15, 2007, in Briarwood Nursing Home, South Amboy. Surviving are her husband, Walter Schroll; a son, Walter, and his wife, Tanya, of Old Bridge; three daughters, Jennifer Wenger, and her husband, Christopher, and Annmarie Vogel, and her husband, Henry, all of Monroe, and Lisa Schroll of Spotswood; a brother, Andrew Parisi of Jersey City; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in the church cemetery.
John J. Abramski Mr. Abramski, 62, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died March 13, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was employed as a chemical operator with Hercules Inc., Parlin, where he worked for 21 years. Surviving are his wife, Ceil Guadagno Abramski; and two sons, John Abramski, and his wife, Amy, of Jackson and Robert Abramski of Parlin. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Central New Jersey Hospice.
Benedict W. Butkiewicz Mr. Butkiewicz, 84, of Sayreville, died March 23, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a chemical operator at Hatco Chemical Co., Fords section of Woodbridge. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Resch, and her husband, Howard, of East Brunswick; a brother, Walter Butkiewicz of Sayreville; a granddaughter, Lori Kluska; and a great-grandson. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Cremation was private.
Charlotte Kreider Doerflein Mrs. Doerflein, 96, of Monroe, died March 23, 2007, in Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Doerflein, and by two sons, Kenneth and Robert Doerflein. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Franks, and her husband, Richard, of Monroe; a son, Richard Doerflein of the Avenel section of Woodbridge; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private. Ann M. Rzucek Rusay Mrs. Rusay, 85, of Sayreville, died March 13, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was employed for 40 years as a seamstress with Berman Manufacturing Co. and R&P Wash Suit, both South River. Her husband, Frederick T. Rusay, died in 2003. Surviving are two sons, Mitch Rusay, and his wife, Diane, of East Brunswick, and the Rev. Leonard Rusay of Whitehouse Station section of Readington; a sister, Mary Balwierczak of the Fords section of Woodbridge; two grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Kathleen R. Keil Mrs. Keil, 50, of Ocean Township, died April 5, 2007, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. born in Hoboken, she resided in Ocean Township the past 27 years. She was a legal secretary and paralegal at several law offices. She was a communicant of and taught CCD at St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church, Wayside section of Ocean Township. She was predeceased by her father, James J. Rudd in 1977. She is survived by her mother, Eileen Rudd of Sayreville; her husband, Richard M. Keil; two daughters, Samantha Rose Keil at home, and Stephanie Selina Keil of Garfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Colleen and Richard Bork of Brick, and Pegeen and Jeffrey Firestine of South River; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Keith and Gypsy Rudd of Jeannette, Pa., and James Rudd of Old Bridge; several nephews; and one niece. A memorial service will be April 15 at 2 p.m. at St. Anselm's Church.
Phyllis F. Fantasia Hansen Mrs. Hansen, 59, of Eatontown, died April 10, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Jersey City, she resided in the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge 25 years, prior to relocating to Eatontown three years ago. She was a homemaker. Prior to that, she was employed at Eastern Dental, Parlin, for three years. She was a former communicant of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor. She is survived by three daughters, Erica Salicco of Howell, Christina Hansen of Old Bridge, and Donna Hansen of Eatontown; a son, Wally Hansen of Eatontown; a brother, Albert J. Fantasia of Las Vegas; and a grandson. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
Diane Raver Foreman Mrs. Foreman, 51, of North Brunswick, died April 11, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, following a battle with diabetes and kidney failure. She was born and raised in East Brunswick. She was an insurance adjuster at Prudential and Aetna where she was employed several years. She was predeceased by her husband, Furquan Foreman. She is survived by a son, Brandon Raver; a sister, Sandy Raver; a niece; and four stepsons. A memorial service will be May 5 from noon-3 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Perth Amboy. Arrangements are by the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
