N.J. Folk Festival at college April 28

Douglass College of Rutgers University, George Street and Ryders Lane, New Brunswick, will present the 33rd annual New Jersey Folk Festival April 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (rain or shine).

The free event will be headlined by Irish flute player Mike Rafferty, and the Dominican a cappella group Yaya. It will also feature folk dancing, gospel music, bluegrass music, Irish and Scottish dance music, Appalachian music, children's crafts and games, foods and craft markets, and other activities. Attendees are encouraged to bring instruments and take part.
