Gov. should take cue from across the Hudson

I have a solution to New Jersey's fiscal problems. Send Gov. Corzine to take lessons from New York's mayor, Michael Bloomberg.

Bloomberg now has a $4.4 billion surplus, lowered property taxes and is removing the sales tax from some clothing items/shoes. The best part is that he is still asking city departments to cut spending.

What a difference from New Jersey's politicians and their philosophy. When they have some extra tax money, they look for new ways to spend it. Bloomberg is the true "Wall Street wiz."

Bloomberg, a Republican, has brought fiscal responsibility to the city while Corzine, a Democrat, has continued fiscal disaster in the state of New Jersey.
