Obituaries Margaret A. McCabe Hanko Mrs. Hanko, 58, of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, formerly of North Brunswick, died April 27, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Her husband, David B. Hanko, died in 1993. She also was predeceased by her parents, John R. and Helen "Ellie" O'Connor McCabe. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Zach of Lodi and Mary Kate Hanko of Ramsey; a brother, Michael McCabe; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Eileen McCabe Robertson and Nancy and Joseph Conroy, all of South Amboy; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, also South Amboy.
Alison H. Parinello Maggio Mrs. Maggio, 33, of Jackson, formerly of Sayreville and Howell, died April 24, 2007, in Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She was a former dance instructor. Most recently, she worked for Accumed Laboratories, South Amboy. Surviving are a son, Joseph David, at home; her mother, Sharon Parinello of Freehold; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Andrea Parinello of Jackson and Daniel and Renee Parinello of the Toms River section of Dover; her maternal grandmother, Helen Albrizio of Freehold; her paternal grandfather, Anthony Parinello of San Diego; a nephew; and four nieces. A funeral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Robert J. Witkowski Mr. Witkowski, 69, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 9, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1999, he was employed for 18 years as a maintenance supervisor at Hercules Inc., Parlin. Before that, he worked for 17 years at National Lead Industries, Sayreville. Surviving are his wife, Joan Nawalany Witkowski; three daughters, Debbie Witkowski of Sayreville, Janet Borruso of Manalapan and Susan Brazdovic, and her husband, Rudy, of Alexandria Township; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Sayreville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New Jersey, Hospice Unit, Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724, or to the American Cancer Society of New Jersey.
Mae D. Carragher Mrs. Carragher, 92, of Old Bridge, died April 21, 2007, at home. She was a crossing guard for Old Bridge Township for 10 years. Her husband, Francis J. Carragher, died in 1990. She also was predeceased a granddaughter, Christine Loudin. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Vincent of Old Bridge; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia section of Woodbridge.
Rita E. Truax McGlyn Mrs. McGlyn, 62, of Old Bridge, died April 25, 2007, in Madison Center, Old Bridge. She is survived by her husband, Raymond E. McGlyn; two daughters, Ellen McGlyn of Old Bridge and Elizabeth Crome of Neptune; a son, Raymond McGlyn of Freehold; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Andrew E. Sebok Mr. Sebok, 63, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 24, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jacobs Sebok; a son, Thomas A. Sebok of the Forked River section of Lacey; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan L. and Frank Murphy of Vacaville, Calif., and Gail E. and Kevin Surgent of Parlin; three brothers, John, Richard and Ronald Sebok; six sisters, Margaret Patrick, Irene Williams, Elizabeth Shurts, Nancy Kunch, Patricia Sarno and Violet Brienza; and two grandchildren. A Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. Arrangements were by Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.
Louise B. Cullen Mrs. Cullen, 95, of Old Bridge, died April 19, 2007, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Cullen in 1976. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin J. and Kathleen Cullen of Weston, Conn.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge. burial was at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, N.Y. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
Agnes McGuire Canavan Mrs. Canavan, 81, of Spotswood, formerly of Old Bridge, died May 2, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Canavan. Surviving are four children, Kathleen M. Egner, Joseph M. Canavan, Maureen A. Posik and Rosemarie Wallace; five sisters, Jane Legowski, Mary Farrell, Theresa McGowan, Eva Dunn and Catherine Fagan; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Donald Klochak Mr. Klochak, 72, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 25, 2007, at home. Before his retirement, he was an employee of Pathmark, East Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Klochak, in 2005. Surviving are two sons, Donald Klochak Jr. of Tennessee and David Klochak of Pennsylvania; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Timothy O'Neill of Matawan; a sister, Rose Bernardo of Bellevernon, Pa.; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
Virginia Rehfuss Larkin Mrs. Larkin, 95, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of South Amboy, died March 31, 2007. Prior to her retirement, she taught Latin, French and Spanish at Jamesburg High School. Her husband, William, died in 1976. Surviving are two daughters, Virginia DaConceicao, and her husband, Albert, and Ruth Furrer Lawrence, and her husband, David, all of Cape Coral; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Presbyterian Church Scholarship Fund, 4544 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
