Cancer Institute to celebrate survivors

The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ), New Brunswick, will mark National Cancer Survivors Day with a Celebration of Life! luncheon planned for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on June 10 at the Hyatt Regency, 2 Albany St., New Brunswick. Registration is set for 11 a.m.

The event will feature cancer survivor Sherry Waldrip, author of the book "I Don't Remember Signing Up for Cancer." Waldrip will offer encouragement and hope as she shares her story in a humorous fashion.

Guests will have the opportunity to share the afternoon with treatment nurses and doctors who have been invited to attend. Admission is free of charge; however, registration is required.
