St. Stan's Carnival planned for June 20-23

St. Stan's Carnival 2007 will take place from 6-11 p.m. June 20-23 on the St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish grounds, MacArthur Avenue and Main Street, Sayreville.

Highlights will include rides for children and adults; games of chance; a "Las Vegas" money wheel for adults; nightly and super 50/50 drawings; a seafood area; ethnic and American homemade foods; nightly entertainment; a beer garden; barbecued ribs; desserts; and a fish fry beginning at 5 p.m. on June 22.

The nightly lineup is as follows:

+ June 20 - the music of Dave Miller at 6:30 p.m.

+ June 21 - the music of Patrick and Joanna at 6:30 p.m.

+ June 22 - St. Stan's Alumni Night, entertainment by Triple H Productions

+ June 23 - Col. David B. Kelly Pipes and Drums, the McCarthy Brothers Band.

Discounted pre-sale ride tickets and advance 50/50 raffle tickets may be purchased at several locations according to the following schedule:

+ prior to Sunday-Afternoon Bingo at St. Stan's Parish, noon to 1:30 p.m. on June 3, 10 and 17

+ prior to Tuesday-Night Bingo at St. Stan's Parish, 6-7:30 p.m. on June 5, 12 and 19

+ Foodtown of South Amboy, Bordentown Avenue, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 9

+ Sayreville Seafood and Deli, Washington Road, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 16 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 17.
