'Birdie' auditions on tap at Main Street

Auditions for the Sayreville Main Street Theatre Company summer production of "Bye Bye Birdie" will be held at 7:30 p.m. on June 11, 12 and 13 at the Main Street theatre, 3018 Bordentown Ave., Parlin section of Sayreville. Callbacks are set for June 14.

All roles are open. Participants should come prepared with sheet music and comfortable clothing for a short dance routine. Teens and adults in nonsinging and singing roles are sought for a supporting cast of cameos, including Conrad's teen fans.

The musical will be directed by Vic Morosco, musically directed by David Raunick and choreographed by Liat Pearlman.
