+ Cruise Nights/Car Shows, sponsored by Just Us Cruisers Classic Car Club, 6-9 p.m., in the parking lot at 1980 Route 35 North, next to F-1 Motoring, South Amboy/Sayreville. Family-oriented events feature more than 50 antique and classic cars from across the tristate area. Trophies, games, music from the '50s, '60s, '70s. All proceeds benefit the Sayreville Brain Injured Children Association. Businesses invited to donate a trophy and have their names mentioned at the shows. + Casino Night, sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes (OLOL) School, 6 p.m., at the school, 44 Cleveland Ave., Milltown. Buffet dinner, slot machine, 50/50, raffles. Advance tickets cost $60 each, two for $100; price at the door is $70 per ticket. Cost includes entry, $250 of "play" money, buffet. Guests may purchase more play money during the evening. + MX Kids Racing for Hope Motocross Races, to benefit Embrace Kids Foundation/The Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders, New Brunswick, rider registration at 7 a.m., practice at 9 a.m., racing begins at 10:30 a.m., at Raceway Park, Old Bridge. Featuring 15 motocross races in various age categories. Appearance by Jeff Emig. Racers who collect a minimum of $250 in donations will be eligible for a drawing for a Yamaha KLX 110 or a Honda CRF 50; participants who collect $500 in donations receive two chances to win the prizes. Hole-shot awards, raffle for racing gear and supplies. Idea for the fundraiser came from Rocky Cagno, a 9-year-old student at Frost Elementary School, East Brunswick. + Charles Garbarini Golf Outing, sponsored by the Milltown Fire Department, shotgun scramble begins at 10 a.m., at Cranbury Golf Club, 49 Southfield Road, West Windsor. Garbarini, a lieutenant with the New York City Fire Department, was lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Cost is $135 per person; includes donuts, coffee, lunch, buffet dinner. Prizes for winning teams, longest drives, closest to the pin. Door prizes. Proceeds benefit charities and other causes requested by the Garbarini family.
