June 21

+ TGI Friday's Night, sponsored by the Sayreville War Memorial High School Bombers Bowling Team, 5-9 p.m., at Friday's, Route 9 north, Old Bridge. June 21-23

+ Book Sale, sponsored by the Spotswood Public Library, during regular library hours, at the library, 548 Main St. Hardcover books, paperbacks, children's books, audiocassettes, VHS videos. Paperbacks sell for 50 cents each or three for $1, hardcovers for 75 cents and up, VHS videos for $1. "All-You-Can-Carry-for-$5 Sale" on June 22 and 23. All sales final. June 22 & Fridays through Oct. 12

+ Cruise Nights/Car Shows, sponsored by Just Us Cruisers Classic Car Club, 6-9 p.m., in the parking lot at 1980 Route 35 North, next to F-1 Motoring, South Amboy/Sayreville. Family-oriented events feature more than 50 antique and classic cars from across the tristate area. Trophies, games, music from the '50s, '60s, '70s. All proceeds benefit the Sayreville Brain Injured Children Association. Businesses invited to donate a trophy and have their names mentioned at the shows. + All-You-Can-Eat Pig Roast, sponsored by Sons of the American Legion Post No. 25, 1 p.m., at Milltown American Legion Hall, 4 JFK Blvd. Rain or shine. Pig roast, beer, soda, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. Donation is $25 per ticket, in advance only. Free parking.
