Student's garden design takes home the prize

      OLD BRIDGE - The Memorial School promotes growth - in more ways than one. A garden design contest for fourth- and fifth-graders challenged the students to apply several disciplines to create the best layout of plants and flowers for the area around the school's front flagpole.

Builder's Club learns value of helping others
      OLD BRIDGE - The first-ever Builder's Club at Carl Sandburg Middle School built a reputation for making a difference over the past school year. The club recently held its largest fundraising event, a lip-sync and dance show that raised $3,334, or more than half their original goal.
